F-Phenibut Review: Is There A Difference?
So many of you have likely heard about the new kid on the block.
For those of you familiar with Liftmode, their “sister company” has rolled out a different strain of Phenibut called F-Phenibut. You can view this at your leisure at their New Mind company site.
Right off the bat we have some interesting things jump off the page at us.
First of all, if you go to the New Mind site, you will see that it says the supplement is for “testing” purposes only. It is to not be used for human or recreational consumption. As we are known as terrible rule followers, this served as a minor deterrent.
For those of you a little more health conscious, this may raise a red flag for you. Not to worry though…
Today, we will go over everything that we have seen with the supplement, dosing information (MUCH different than dosing FAA or HCL) as well as how the dosing experience differs between Phenibut FAA and Phenibut HCL.
With that minor backdrop out of the way, lets begin.
F-Phenibut: Some Things We Noticed Off The Bat
Naturally, as F-Phenibut is said to be a “more potent” and a much more “euphoric” version of the HCL and FAA brands, we had to give this a shot.
What you find out next may surprise you.
Dosing With F-Phenibut: How to Dose F-Phenibut
You may be used to the standard 500mg to 1.5 grams dose per session that you use for the HCL and FAA. With F-Phenibut, this couldn’t be more different.
As the F-Phenibut is more potent than the other kinds, a standard dose for you would be about 50 – 100mg per session.
So if you like to keep track of your Phenibut usage by the week, we would recommend not dosing more than 3 times per week. This means that it’s a good idea to stay under 300mg of F-Phenibut per week.
F-Phenibut Dosing Experience: What It Feels Like
Dosing with F-Phenibut was interesting because it was a much smaller dosage than the other strains of Phenibut. Initially, we weren’t too sure what to expect as well as how long it would take to kick in. There is some good news and some bad news here. Let’s start with the bad.
Despite what the rumor mill is pumping out, F-Phenibut unfortunately does not kick in faster than the HCL or the FAA. In fact, it kicks in at about the same time frame (about 30 minutes to 2 hours… depending on when you last ate).
Also, F-Phenibut doesn’t seem to last as long as the other types. So that Phenibut afterglow that everyones talking about? Yea, not really gonna feel it with F-Phenibut.
The good news is that F-Phenibut kicks in the same way as the HCL or the FAA. We have had a positive dosing experience with it no doubt. The effects last anywhere between 4 to 10 hours long. Interestingly enough, there is a wide window of variability here. It is very hard to get a consistent dosing experience with the F=Phen.
So, What’s The Difference Between F-Phenibut, Phenibut HCL and Phenibut FAA?
Here we will try to give you a very quick breakdown on the difference between all three as we know you likely want to dabble with all of them.
Phenibut FAA
Phenibut FAA is the fine, fluffy, white powder version. It’s not as acidic as the HCL or F-Phenibut and tends to last longer than the other two as well. You will also find that the “Afterglow” feeling you get with the FAA is a little stronger than the HCL and much stronger than with F-Phenibut. Typical does lasts anywhere from 18 – 30 hours (very long here).
The downside with Phenbut FAA is that it takes longer to digest so you have to wait longer to feel the effects.
Phenibut HCL
Phenibut HCL comes in both powder and capsule form. It is much more acidic (harder on your teeth and on your gut) than the FAA but it may reduce the time it takes to feel the effects. The typical dose with the HCL lasts about 12-18 hours, a bit less than the FAA, because of its acidity.
The downside with the HCL is that again, it is very acidic. This may give you stomach problems if you have a sensitive stomach or tooth aches if you decide to take the powder (strongly recommend you take the capsules here)
F-Phenibut
F-Phenibut is very similar to the HCL in that it is very acidic. Expect to have the same issues with your teeth and stomach as the HCL. Surprisingly, F-Phenibut doesn’t seem to have a glaring advantage over the HCL or FAA. It kicks the same as the other two, but doesn’t last as long (usually around 4 – 10 hours). Also, keep in mind that since it’s more “potent” to never exceed more than 100mg per dose. We would recommend you start with 50mg in your first run to gauge tolerance.
The only downsides here are that it doesn’t last as long as the HCL and the FAA and you don’t really get an “afterglow” effect.
F-Phenibut Review: Wrapping It Up
To sum things up, you now have 3 options when it comes to dosing with Phenibut. To make things really simple for you, we will line up two different profiles to give you a sense of where you fall.
If you want a long, clean ride with Phenibut and really want to wake up the next morning with a strong afterglow feeling, then we would recommend the Phenibut FAA for you.
If you want to feel the effects of Phenibut as fast as possible and also want the freedom of dosing with the capsules, we recommend you to take the Phenibut HCL.
What about the F-Phen? Honestly, if you want to take a crack at it go for it. It can give you the same effects as the other two.
Our issue with the F-Phenibut is that it doesn’t last as long and you get no afterglow with it. Shockingly, we were a bit underwhelmed with it as its said to be the more “potent” Phenibut.
Anyway, the choice is yours.
Just don’t forget to never go over 100mg per dose with F-Phenibut!
